What Are Chakras?
Chakra is a Sanskrit term meaning circle or disc, the chakras look like small oscillating fans. Chakras are energy centers thus enabling the ki — life force energy within our body and mind to become one. Chakras are where we absorb both our material and spiritual worlds into our bodies.

We have many chakras, however the most commonly known are the seven main chakras, of these seven, the first three chakras relate to our "human needs" (things we can see/feel, etc.) and the next four chakras are associated more with our "spiritual world" (things we cannot necessarily see like love, etc.). Other important chakras are in the ears, hands and feet. The seven main chakras are discussed below in more detail as they relate color and related illnesses associated therein.
